TERMS & CONDITIONS
Booking:
LUX POPPIN requires a 50% non-refundable deposit to book your date for decor and order materials. Events are not
scheduled until the initial deposit is received, regardless of how much correspondence was made between you and your
event planner.
Payments:
LUX POPPIN accepts credit, debit or company checks. Personal checks are not allowed. Venmo may be used for tipping
employees (@luxpoppin) only. Payment must be made within 3 business days of the invoice date or it will be canceled;
thus terminating your contract and releasing your requested date. Materials will not be ordered until the initial deposit
payment is received. Requests made and scheduled within 12 days require full payment upfront. Failure to make final
payment will forfeit your event and any prior payments already made. LUX POPPIN will not refund any payments made
due to other vendors hindering or becoming detrimental to the progress and quality of the installation.
Refund Policy:
If your event date needs to be rescheduled you may apply the deposit towards your new date which must be used up to 1
calendar year from the first receipt of deposit. The new date must be available with LUX POPPIN and agreed upon prior.
We understand situations arise and although we are empathetic to those situations, we cannot refund any payments
made for any circumstances; regardless of the reason.
Venue Access:
It is your responsibility to make arrangements for LUX POPPIN to gain/maintain access to the venue during the entire
installation period. This includes parking and entry/exits for loading and unloading items. A clear pathway must be made
available to us, free from other vendors and foot traffic during preparation. You are responsible for obtaining and
sharing permits, access passes, gate codes, and other venue entry requirements with our staff.
Balloon Care:
Balloons should be kept in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight. Helium balloons are treated with hi-float
and come with a 12-hour float guarantee. LUX POPPIN is not responsible for popped balloons once our team completes
their installation, checks their work, and exits your event. Environmental elements can affect the life of your balloons.
Outdoor elements can cause latex balloons to oxidize faster than indoors; therefore must not be installed in direct
sunlight. A tent is required for outdoor balloon installations that take place in direct sunlight. Pool balloons - we are not
responsible if weather elements such as wind, rain or above 90 degree temps - move the balloon placement while inside
the pool. Keep children and pets away from balloons and never release helium balloons into the air. Do not suck helium
from the balloons once they start to deflate.
Ownership of Equipment & Materials:
All backdrops, props, centerpieces and silk florals used for your installation are the sole property of LUX POPPIN LLC and
are treated as rental items. Your contract will state the pickup time of our items and they should not be removed from
the venue by anyone in your party, including event or restaurant staff. You are responsible for the care of all rental items
while they are in your possession and must replace any broken or damaged rentals caused by you or your attending
guests while in your care. The total cost of the damaged or broken item will be billed to you for immediate
reimbursement. Centerpieces are not to be taken by any attending guests or event staff.
Additional Terms:
By working with LUX POPPIN you allow us to take photos/videos of our work during and after the installation period for
marketing and social media purposes.
LUX POPPIN is not responsible for assisting other vendors in tasks related to their field.
LUX POPPIN will not install any customer-supplied items such as other balloons, props, etc. We will only provide and
install the items listed on your contract.
Your signature agrees and approves the terms and conditions outlined in this contract.
