Hi! I’m Sonny — Owner and Lead Designer of LUX POPPIN.
Since 2020, I’ve built LUX POPPIN around a of love thoughtful design, beautiful details, and creating moments people genuinely remember. I’ve always believed there is something to celebrate, and I love being able to take an idea, build a vision around it, and completely transform a space for someone’s most important moments.
As the lead designer, I’m behind the creative direction of LUX POPPIN — from color palettes and balloon designs to custom backdrops, styling, and the little details that make each event feel personal. I continue to push myself creatively, and am always looking for new ways to make our work feel fresh, intentional, and unmistakably LUX POPPIN.
Outside of the business, I’m a wife and mom of two who loves traveling, all things Disney, bird watching, and finding any excuse to make everyday life feel a little more fun!
LUX POPPIN has become so much more than a balloon business to me. It’s a family-run creative company that Danny and I have built together, and I’m incredibly proud that we get to spend our days creating joy and bringing other people’s celebrations to life.

I’m Danny, LUX POPPIN’s Lead Production Designer, Master Balloon Professional, fabricator, and the guy behind many of the custom builds that help bring our events to life.
Before balloons, my career looked completely different. I played professional soccer and later spent many years working in the HVAC field, where I developed a strong background in building, troubleshooting, and figuring out how to make things work.
My balloon career started as what I like to call an *unpaid balloon assistant position* helping my wife, Sonny, with installs. Somewhere along the way, helping out turned into learning the craft, learning to design, and eventually realizing that I genuinely loved working with balloons. What started as me lending a hand became a full-time passion and a huge part of what I do today.
At LUX POPPIN, I design balloon installations, fabricate custom backdrops and event pieces, manage our rental inventory, and help oversee the production and installation side of our events. I especially enjoy the challenge of taking an idea and figuring out how to actually build it, engineer it, and make it work in a real event space.
And when Sonny starts a sentence with, “I have an idea…” there’s a pretty good chance I’m the one figuring out how we’re going to pull it off.
